Debuted in London, with a world premiere, the new Jaguar XE, redefining the concept of a sports sedan. The event was unique: for the first time in the presentation of a car, have been involved the Red Arrows (Royal Air Force Acrobatic Team), and then a show at Earls Court presented by actor John Hannah, with special performances by Emeli Sandé, The Kaiser Chiefs and Eliza Doolittle. A party in style for a car that brings, to a relatively new segment for Jaguar, high levels of innovation, thanks to the reduced weight and sophisticated technologies of the frame. The ultra dynamic architecture that built the new XE is modular, creating design possibilities never existed until today, since the base dimensions were determined from the start by a joint work between designers and engineers, in order to achieve perfect proportions. The whole thing is entirely made of monocoque aluminium, in high percentage recycled to drastically reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Completley designed and produced in the United Kingdom. The design is aggressive and “muscular”: large front air intakes, chrome plated side ventilation grilles, a rear spoiler and forged alloy wheels. Which on the inside results in unexpected levels of comfort and space. Of course finishes and materials are among the most prized, combined with craftsmanship of Jaguar masters. The result is a light, rigid and aerodynamic sedan, giving the idea of perpetual movement even when the car is stationary.
