We attended yesterday’s opening of the new showroom of the German textile editor JAB Anstoetz , in Via Visconti di Modrone 27. The group, already present in Milan for forty years, decided to move to a new location, in a strategic district of the city for the strong high-level design connotation, presenting to clients and professionals of the industry a space that has the typical mood of a library, where fabrics, carpets and wallpapers delineate an environment of inspiration and advice formal yet intimate at the same time. The architectural design was followed by Colombo & Vantusso Architetti Associati Milano, who thought the space on two floors, with a lounge area and windows on the street , great for the reception, in the upper one, working area and offices on the lower one, for a wide and complete total area. The goal of the new showroom is to meet the new needs of customers, and especially to position itself as a ” textile boutique”, where there is the possibility to organize meetings, workshops and conferences to strengthen the affinities and experience new interests between those who work in the world of architecture, design and interior decoration. The result of the overall image, by the stylist Alessandra Salaris, was that of an elegant mood strongly characterized by color effects, subtle but effective, broken only by the pleasant contrast of fabric samples on display, positioned in such a way as to become part of the exhibition.
