Irony, colour, a strong contemporary and irreverent touch. These are the features common to the Japanese watches brand Q&Q and the Italian fashion house Leitmotiv, which in fact have collaborated to create a line of watches, presented in the autumn-winter 2015 fashion show entitled, needless to say, Toys. Inspirations are taken precisely in the world of toys, in particular the one of imaginary animals that the creatives of Leitmotiv interpret in new and funny creatures halfway between a panda and a giraffe, a jaguar and a rabbit, a zebra and a monkey. Q&Q clocks put emphasis on these animals and on the geometric patterns of the rest of the collection, all in brilliant color, into an aesthetic of the brand that is very close to what Japanese like a lot. The collaboration with Japan also has a technological component: the watches are solar-powered, holding the charge for more than three months, plus they are built mixing new to recycled materials.
