For the first time the Spanish lightening firm, LZF, is present at the Belgian Design Biennial, Interieur. It is quite a big event for the Valencian enterprise. Firstly, it was the occasion for them to be on an important northern market event. Secondly, it happened to match with their 20th Anniversary. In fact, from 1994 this lightening firm has imposed herself on the Spanish market, and managed to get her known in far countries such as Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. They promulgated themselves during these years expressing the same three ideas as before: nothing diffuses light as beautifully as natural timber-veneer, everything is made from hand and, finally, Valencia will always be their home. The strength of LZF comes from two very different elements. One is the fact that natural wood is one of their main components, which gives flexibility and strength to their lamps. The other one is a person, or may I say the owner of the company. She is the one that from the really beginning supervised everything, from the choice of the designers to the production process. Giving love and time to her own firm, she managed to give faith in design and handcrafted products.
