Hans Richter can be considered as a polyhedric of creativity. He exercised his talent in a variety of fields of expression, ranging from painting to drawing, from cinema to writing, up to publishing, in affirmation of the values of his aesthetic, the ones of modernist revolution that marked the first half of the twentieth century and has forever changed our perception of art. A work which recounts an incessant search for experimentation and innovation, which is celebrated in an exhibition at the Museo d’Arte di Lugano, from August 31, curated by Elio Schenini. Almost 200 works, including paintings, drawings, photographs, films, books and magazines talk about the eclecticism of a key protagonist in the history of the avant-garde, in an exhibition that unfolds it chronologically, including works by other artists for a comparison with the great themes of modern art. Especially, a complete overview on fundamental experiences that have built the history of relations between painting, film, graphics and design, showing how creativity is never limited to a single field.
