Diplomatic relations between Italy and Republic of Korea are celebrating an important anniversary, the 130th. An event that they chose to celebrate with K-Fashion Project, a fashion show of young talents in order to increase the manufacturing enhancement through collaboration between the two Nations. Of course in Milan, international fashion centre, K-Fashion Project was organized by the Korea Fashion Association with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Italy and the Korean Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy. The creativity of both countries have thus found expression in a fashion show of three collections, two Korean, by Rick Lee and Lee Jean Youn, and one Italian, by Co|te, underlining the desire of political, economic and artistic cooperation between the parties. Fashion acted as cultural filter through which to achieve a deeper exchange from a mutual cooperation within Italian fashion business, increasing recognizability of the image, the presence and the quality of Korean fashion — all delivered by a vibrant show, where it was possible to admire the creativity of our Eastern colleagues, their conceptual virtuosity and, above all, a dialogue with the most advanced technology.
