When the crowded calendar of Milan fashion week is almost over, the weather blessed the city with a beautiful sunny day: the perfect context to start the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of maison Marni, celebrated with Marni Flower Market. In the historic setting of Rotonda della Besana, in the heart of Milan, Marni has organized a colorful flower market, in which the “feel the fashion week” motto, so dear this year to Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, has finally found expression. A market not only for journalists, bloggers and influencer, but for all the people who wanted to spend a flourished sunday, in what, far from being a traditional presentation, acted as a real feast for both the brand and the city. An active experience, where the products were not just to watch, but to buy: beautiful flowers, bulbs, seeds, but also (and here fashion comes in the picture) unexpected vase-holders in the shape of a shopper in different sizes and decorated with Marni archival prints, shopping bag especially created, ceramic vases and canvas aprons. To populate the structure even animals-sculpture in metal and pvc, handmade by a group of Colombian women, even those on sale, as well as gardening aprons and equipment bags hand painted in Zambia. The world of fashion was also open to children that participated in a series of creative workshops, thanks to the collaboration with Museo dei Bambini di Milano, which  headquarter is just inside Rotonda della Besana. Portion of the incomes from the sale of limited edition products will, of course, go to contribute to the renovation of a pediatric facility in India, through the charity of Associazione Vimala. Critics? None. For the first time the stress from fashion week was damped with joy, color and a climate in which everyone, even the priestesses of style, was able to relax and enjoy a pleasant fashion sunday.
