Hyères Fashion and Photography Festival is a prestigious opportunity for emerging designers. The finalists showcase their collections over the four day event before a winner is chosen. Previous winners have included Viktor & Rolf, Felipe Oliveira Baptista and Anthony Vaccarello. At the 32 edition – held from 27 April to 1 May 2017 at the beautiful Villa Noailles in the South of France -ten fashion designers competing for the Grand Prix du jury Première Vision and the Prix Chloé:

The Grand Prix of the jury Première Vision consists of:

– a grant of 15,000 euros offered by Première Vision and a high level of visibility at both Première Vision New-York and Première Vision Paris shows

– the opportunity to undertake a project with CHANEL’s Maisons d’art, up to 15,000 euros

– a collaboration with Petit Bateau and a grant of 10,000 euros plus royalties, for the creation of one or several styles to be manufactured and sold by the brand.

The Chloé Prize consist of a grant of 15,000 euros.

The fashion jury, presided over this year by Bertrand Guyon, design director of the House of Schiaparelli, awarded Vanessa Schindler / Grand Prix du jury Première Vision 2017 for the fashion competition selection, a 29-year-old Swiss designer, who recently completed a master’s degree in fashion at the Geneva University of Art and Design.
