Nella passerella di Proenza Schouler per\u00f2 i designer Jack McCollough e Lazaro Hernandez hanno spinto l\u2019idea oltre i soliti limiti. Quello da loro proposto, a detta degli stessi stilisti \u201cla nostra versione dello sportswear all\u2019americana\u201d va alla base del casual, e sfrutta i codici dell\u2019abbigliamento sportivo per trasformarli in qualcosa di mai visto prima. Il look \u00e8 un\u2019affermazione pura e semplice di quanto, nell\u2019oggi pi\u00f9 immediato, \u00e8 considerato cool: geometrie esasperate, ispirazioni androgine e quel tocco di menswear che pi\u00f9 che mascolinit\u00e0 si traduce nella contemporaneit\u00e0 di una vita metropolitana, addolcita forse dagli innovativi giochi di frange delle uscite serali. La costruzione \u00e8 complicata ma riuscitissima: livelli sovrapposti si alternano a un patchwork rigoroso di diverse texture e materiali, come il blazer vagamente anni \u201980 che mixa il tradizionale tartan Principe di Galles a una pi\u00f9 moderna lana nera e liscia. Pi\u00f9 aggressivi i completi in cui fanno bella mostra di s\u00e9 differenti tipi di pitone, proposti in blu elettrico, ma anche in rosso e in una calda tonalit\u00e0 di arancione. La pelle, presentissima nelle tute o nei pantaloni, sembra discostarsi un po\u2019 dalla stagione primaverile per cui la collezione \u00e8 pensata, ma a ben vedere \u00e8 forse il materiale che pi\u00f9 dona leggerezza agli outfit, per abiti castigati che nello svolazzare riacquisiscono frivolezza.
