I brillanti disegni sono quelli ispirati al mondo fiabesco, ma inaspettatamente pop, delle copertine dei libri: \u201cThe Birds and The Bees\u201d \u00e8 il nome di una collezione animata da maxi stampe di farfalle e api disegnate a mano, le stesse della passerella e della copertura trasparente della struttura della sfilata. I colori vivissimi sono quelli con cui Burberry afferma una contemporaneit\u00e0 fuori dal coro, contrapponendosi alle distese di nero delle altre tendenze per la bella stagione, immaginando un mondo in technicolor in cui i codici dell\u2019azienda sono ben saldi, ma interpretati in una chiave del tutto innovativa. Il tipico trench \u00e8 quindi percorso da disegni quasi psichedelici, e alle grafiche della collezione fanno da perfetto accompagnamento gli accessori, vero cult della sfilata: qui Christopher Bailey ha dato il meglio di s\u00e9, accostando, quando presente, l\u2019iconico check a un patchwork di colori primari, per borse ladylike che rivelano uno spirito da artista, lo stesso gridato dalle stampe sugli overcoat di lino. Nella connotazione estiva ma fortemente urbana che la collezione assume, la scarpa appartiene al mondo dello sportswear, declinata in una sneaker o in un sandalo da escursione all\u2019aperto.
