Il premio \u00e8 andato alla talentuosa Marina Bautier. Nata e cresciuta in Belgio, Marina ha completato i suoi studi nel Regno Unito, conseguendo il First Class Honours alla Bucks New University di High Wycombe. Subito dopo gli studi, Marina ha deciso che non le sarebbe piaciuto lavorare come impiegata presso uno studio, e ha iniziato la sua attivit\u00e0 da freelance in modo da poter esprimere tutta la sua creativit\u00e0. A lanciarla a tutti gli effetti nel mondo cos\u00ec complesso del design \u00e8 stata la presenza al Salone Satellite durante la Milano Design Week del 2007. Era alla sua terza partecipazione, e grazie alla collaborazione con \u2018Ligne Roset\u2019, si \u00e8 trovata proiettata sulla scena internazionale. Solo l\u2019inizio di una lunga serie di partnership con brand prestigiosi come Swedese, Case, Stattmann Neue Moebel e Id\u00e9e. Nel 2013 Marina ha lanciato il proprio brand MA, la sua pi\u00f9 grande ambizione. Determinata a seguire i suoi prodotti a 360 gradi, ha deciso che avrebbe seguito anche la produzione e la commercializzazione del proprio design, che infatti \u00e8 disponibile solo nel suo negozio di Bruxelles, al 314 Chauss\u00e9e de Forest. Il premio \u2018Designer dell\u2019anno\u2019 \u00e8 un grande risultato nel settore del design e dell\u2019arredo, ma dopo aver avuto la possibilit\u00e0 di parlare con Marina alla Biennale Interieur, di una cosa sono sicura: seguir\u00e0 sempre le sue idee e continuer\u00e0 a produrre design per altri brand solo se essi condividono i suoi stessi valori.
