Questo piccolo essere viene scoperto dal team di ricercatori in zoologia marina guidati da Ferdinando Boero, noto ricercatore dedito alla divulgazione e alla salvaguardia degli ecosistemi marini in Italia e all&#8217;estero e conosciuto anche per la sua singolare amicizia con il chitarrista Frank Zappa, il quale gli dedic\u00f2 una canzone: Lonesome cowboy Nando. Ispirata dalla Medusa, sia animale che mitologica, Elena Salmistraro ha ideato una seduta sospesa.
