Un non prendersi troppo sul serio, senza andare a discapito della funzionalit\u00e0, che con la <i>Nest Chair<\/i> gli ha procurato un posto al Museum of Arts and Design di New York. Nella sua nuova collezione di oggetti prosegue sulla stessa linea, proponendo elementi in cui il concetto che ne ha guidato la creazione \u00e8 ben visibile, accompagnato dalla ricerca sul materiale e sulla sua lavorazione. Lo vediamo bene in <i>Fortress<\/i>, il tavolino d\u2019acciaio girevole ma stabile allo stesso tempo, organico e decorativo, rivestito di rame o bronzo. L\u2019occhio del giovane designer \u00e8 ben visibile nella lampada <i>Carronade<\/i> che, nella sua forma di piccolo cannone, vuole fare la guerra all\u2019oscurit\u00e0, vincendola con una luce inaspettatamente forte per le sue piccole dimensioni. L\u2019interazione, a cui consegue la personalizzazione, \u00e8 la componente fondamentale di <i>Hello Dude<\/i>, la lampada da tavolo alla quale si pu\u00f2 alzare la testa per dare alla luce la direzione desiderata, che va verso dove il \u201cdude\u201d (amico), guarda.
