Born with the design in the blood. The best proposals often can be found in the minds of those who are still studying and therefore free to approach design without too much logical, but just thinking about innovation, pure and simple. During the next Design Week in Ventura Lambrate area students from 24 among academies and universities will showcase their works. The theme which they will have to handle with is referred to the future: from this perspective is sustainability to emerge, as opposed to consumerism that urges to throw away all the old to replace it with the new. It therefore reflects on the research of materials, such as synthetically grown gems; but also on the speed of use of objects such as clothing that once worn, can be immediately reused to create something else. The concept of lifestyle, more and more inherent in the approach to design, it is definitely an important topic for the young designer present at Ventura Lambrate, reflecting on the conditions of human life in the future, seeking ways to increase its quality. Humans who, like in the exhibition “The Animal Party”, will live in perfect harmony with their animal companions, for which they to seek new housing solutions. And then, as it should be, the attention to craft traditions which, combined with contemporary techniques, are exploited to rethink architectural challenges to create perfectly functional buildings from abandoned homes. A breeding ground for new talent where it will be possible to get to know those who, in all likelihood, will dictate the rules of design in the coming years.
