In occasion of Milan Design Week, Santoni introduced a special edition of Clarissa, the armchair designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso, a chair endowed with a welcoming and protective identity. On the back of this version there is a hood, symbolising both antique and urban clothing, kept together by laces, that evocate shoes. Clarissa is the right compromise between antagonism and collaboration, between relax and dynamism, between rest and tension. The leather hood represents the maximum expression of Italian crafts, due to expert hands and attention for details. Clarissa for Santoni is available in two shades: cordovan with an orange cushion, or green with a grey cushion. About this partnership, the Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola says: ”I experimented Santoni’s ability in tailor-making melted with the contemporary shapes created with Moroso. Dressing Clarissa in Santoni’s leather, bringing tailoring to industrial design, I search for innovation, experimentation and irony”.
