A tribute to everyday beauty — real clothes for real life The original artwork from Toogood’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection draws inspiration from the iconic red gingham curtains found in traditional British cafés. A tribute to everyday beauty — real clothes for real life. This painterly check in bright jam is printed on a light cotton lawn. As always, the collection showcases sculptural silhouettes crafted from high-quality fabrics — clothes that speak of form, function, and feeling. The Poet Top: softly gathered at the neck, it falls loosely just below the waist. The Harvester Skirt: gathered and gracefully sculptural. The Landscaper Shirt: a loose, boxy fit for an effortless summer look. Toogood is a London-based design studio founded in 2008 by Faye Toogood, recently awarded Designer of the Year at the ELLE Decoration International Design Awards 2025. With a practice that transcends categories, Faye and her team create timeless pieces across fashion, interiors, furniture, including the iconic ‘Roly Poly’ chair, and homeware. The fashion line was co-founded by Faye and her sister Erica Toogood. Each garment embodies their shared vision: Faye’s material sensitivity and Erica’s daring approach to volume and shape. One a tinker, the other a tailor. Craftsmanship and the celebration of trades are at the heart of the brand. Every piece is named after a traditional profession — from the ‘Metalworker’ Jacket to the ‘Stonemason’ Trousers — telling stories through design. Since 2013, best-selling silhouettes like the Photographer Jacket, Baker Trouser, and Draughtsman Shirt have become modern Toogood icons. A signature “passport” label is sewn into each garment, recording all hands involved in its creation — from the designers to the cutters, sewers, and pressers — with space left for the wearer to add their initials and continue the journey. At the core of every Toogood project lies a spirit of curiosity and experimentation. Designers, sculptors, carpenters, and interior specialists cross disciplines to shape objects and clothing that are bold, artistic, yet resolutely made for daily life.
