From 5 to 8 November, the charity market supporting ANLAIDS Lombardia ETS opens its first Home & Lifestyle edition: design, art and fashion at 50% off, a charity lottery and talks on home, culture and health

The home reflects our tastes, habits and memories, but it is also where we welcome others. This is the idea behind “Giocare in Casa” (“Playing at Home”), the concept of the 17th edition of Convivio, which from 5 to 8 November 2026 turns Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan into a journey through design, interiors, art, vintage, fashion, beauty and food. An invitation to look at everyday objects and spaces with fresh eyes, finding inspiration in unexpected encounters and combinations.

Shopping that supports research

The charity model is what has defined Convivio from the start: participating companies donate their products, which are offered to the public at 50% off the retail price, and every purchase becomes a contribution to the research, prevention and support work of ANLAIDS Lombardia ETS.

Furniture and home accessories, tableware, textiles, lighting and fragrances meet art, fashion and vintage, in monobrand spaces and multibrand areas within a setting designed by MYM.

The rooms of the contemporary collector

Among the most anticipated moments is The Rooms of the Contemporary Collector, a space where architecture, art and the public come together. Art advisor Stefano Soso has selected 70 artworks, donated by artists and galleries supporting the cause, bringing together emerging talents, established names and historically significant authors, in a setting that places visitors inside the home of a contemporary collector.

One section is devoted to collectible design, curated by Alice Ida, with pieces chosen specifically for Convivio by designers, galleries, studios and independent makers, including Studiopepe, deBlona, Daniele Mingardo and Galleria Rossana Orlandi. Ceramics, metal, glass, stone and wood, in unique pieces, limited editions and experimental works.

A lottery with international signatures

Throughout the four days, 10,000 tickets for the Charity Lottery are available at €5 each. Prizes include collectible pieces, limited editions, lithographs and signed prints, as well as experiences, donated by figures from design and the creative world: among them Philippe Starck, Ronan Bouroullec, Formafantasma, Paola Navone, Karim Rashid, Tom Dixon, Studiopepe and, for Toiletpaper, Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari. The draw takes place on Sunday 8 November at 3:00 pm at Spazio Cattedrale, Fabbrica del Vapore.

Convivio&More, where design meets health

Alongside the market, Convivio&More returns with a programme of talks that from 6 to 8 November connects design, fashion, culture, health and innovation. It begins on Friday with Habitus, inhabiting bodies, inhabiting spaces: Giovanna Castiglioni recounts how her father Achille observed everyday objects and gestures to draw inspiration for some of Italian design’s most iconic projects, while Paolo Ferrarini and Simone Guidarelli compare fashion and home décor.

Next come a panel on the evolution of HIV communication, from the campaigns that shaped the collective imagination to today’s languages, a talk on health and artificial intelligence, a discussion between researchers and pharmaceutical companies on new frontiers in treatment and, on Sunday, a conversation on HIV and art starting from the exhibition VIVONO at the Centro Pecci in Prato.

Throughout the event, a dedicated prevention area offers counselling and screening tests for HIV and sexually transmitted infections.

A playful campaign, signed by artists

This year’s visual identity is by Italian artist Federica Del Proposto x Pink Salt, who interprets the theme through a home filled with furniture, objects and figures in motion, in a playful and joyful key. Visual contributions also come from Yuri Falcioni, with his surreal and visionary imagery, and Roberto Bruno, who transforms the spaces of Fabbrica del Vapore with immersive projections. The campaign is the result of a collaboration with the Vogue Italia editorial team, with Francesca Ragazzi and Paola Manfrin, responsible for Art Direction, and Juliana Viazzo, with the support of Alice Ida, and runs across Condé Nast magazines, the City of Milan’s outdoor advertising network and digital channels.

Thirty years of solidarity

Convivio was founded in 1992 on the initiative of Gianni Versace, together with Gianfranco Ferré, Giorgio Armani and Valentino Garavani, to raise funds for the fight against HIV. Over the years, with the support of Franca Sozzani and Vogue Italia, it has become an event that brings together the public, volunteers, companies, institutions and leading figures from fashion, culture and entertainment. In more than thirty years it has welcomed over 400,000 people and raised more than €27 million, directed to clinical and scientific research projects, awareness campaigns, community support and educational programmes on HIV and STI prevention.

The 2024 edition, with Convivio’s youngest audience to date, welcomed over 40,000 visitors in five days. More than 130 companies took part, donating 10,000 products, all of which sold out for the first time in the event’s history, and over €1.8 million was raised for research. The Convivio association is chaired by Francesco Micheli, with Donatella Mainieri as General Director, while Professor Andrea Gori, President of ANLAIDS Lombardia ETS, oversees the scientific programme. The 2026 edition is held under the patronage of Regione Lombardia and the City of Milan, with the support of Vogue Italia.
