If looked with the right eyes, it becomes very difficult to distinguish between graphic design and poetry. It is surely the case of José Guizar, a designer of few words: his illustrations and graphic designs are eloquent enough for him. Of Mexican origin, he decided to move and work in New York City and, like everyone else, fell in love with it. But as only foreigners with a great spirit of observation, and that je ne sais quoi, are able to do, he fixed his eyes on something obvious, which we never pay attention to, and gives it a whole new meaning: the window. With his project Windows of New York, Josè interprets all the windows in the cities that have caught his restless eye during the countless walks around town, turning them into a poetic portrait and a description of the various areas of New York a lot more comprehensive than many words. An odeto architecture, to one of the most inspiring cities in the world, with which Designspeaking leaves its readers to summer holidays with an invitation: look up, design and beauty are everywhere! We will do so …see you on August 25!
