Founded by Marco Sollami, graduate in architecture and yacht design, and Fabrizio Averna, designer and art director, Domino is a multidisciplinary studio that offers architecture, interior and product design and art direction services. “We conceive the project as a trigger for change and progress; we bring architecture and design back to a plan of tight connection with the context and the users” they stated.

The collection, presented in the occasion of the past SaloneSatellite, embodies their interpretation of contemporary aesthetics. It is inspired partly by a rétro style that contaminates the neutral simplicity of modern interiors, partly by the nordic design wave, more minimalistic, in which the mix of nature and function gives objects a fresh, timeless spirit.

Elea

Inspired to classical Italian design, its structure is made of curvilinear modules; harmonious variations on the theme of circle. Characterized bya minimum width (less than three centimeters) it holds a crown of LEDs that, when lightened, tends to fade as for a hint of eclipse into a dynamic lightsome expression

Giuno

The lightness and the rigor of the metal structure combines with the comfort of the softly oversize seat, which can be easily disassembled thanks to a system of zippers; lining is removable and can be easily washed. The elegant presence of Giuno fills the rooms and the eyes, her comfortable hug invites to relax.

Nido

Made of curved plywood and solid wood, it features metal hooks and has a diameter of 43 centimeters. The depth of its frame creates a recess to hold small objects; at the entrance, in the hallway or in the bedroom, Nido turns the distracted gestures we make everyday when we go out or come back home into a naif ritual, a reassuring habit.

Pois

Pois leverages it bright appeal: the glass sphere spreads a diffuse light, while on the bottom a led crown, included within a thin metal disk, creates an unusual soft spot. The slender, golden metal structure and the sober lines wink to the Fifties.

Roger

Made in iron and glass, Roger is minimal and decorative at once, without contradictions. The overlapping circles of different dimensions, height and opacity give it dynamism and functionality.
