Design week is not here yet, but Milan is ready to discover the creativity of new designers and the different interpretations that they know how to give to materials and their processing. In Brera, at Spazio Valcucine, wood is the absolute protagonist of the Wood Mood exhibition that after its start at the London Design Festival, choses Milan as closing stage. This is an exhibition curated by architect Davide Fabio Colaci in which 12 designers show 12 items with which they investigate the characteristics of wood, through the creation of new concepts and uses that go beyond the typical functionality of wood, but seek to discover its poetry, its relationship with culture and also its interaction with different materials. After an impressive introduction by Italo Rota and Duilio Forte, who during the inauguration evening lent their testimony as myths of architecture, Wood Mood will be on display at Valcucine Milano Brera until the 14th of March.
