Opening night of Meet My Project, Thursday 7 September, from 7 pm to 9 pm, at VIA gallery (120 Avenue Ledru-Rollin), as part of the Paris Design Week 2017.

40 design studios will present their unpublished projects, with the scenography by Hiroshi Nakayama and Visual Identity by Aya Kawabata, at VIA (Valorization of Innovation in Furnishing) a non-profit association that was set up in 1979 by the CODIFA (French Furniture Industries Development Committee), with the support of the Ministry for Industry. Since its inception VIA has pursued its vocation to valorize and promote contemporary creation in furnishing (furniture, lighting, tableware, decorative items, rugs, interior textiles…), both in France and abroad.

Since 2009, the mission of Meet My Project is to promote design and contemporary creativity and to unite the various actors of the design world supporting this process – designers, publishers, manufacturers and distributors.

Meet My Project aims as well to increase appreciation for design across the society by highlighting the values delivered through design and by making design accessible and understandable to the large public. It takes place every year in Milan, Paris, Miami, New York, and Hong Kong.
