During Milan Design Week 2025, the digital platform DEORON invited visitors to explore design with a fresh perspective, rediscovering its value through a curatorial approach that transcended convention After years of digital publishing, DEORON—an online shop directory and magazine connecting designers, brands, and design enthusiasts—transformed its ongoing research into a tangible experience through a collective exhibition featuring furniture, lighting, and home accessories. The exhibition DEORON ELEVATING OBJECTS, presented at Milan Design Week, brought its aesthetic vision—one that has inspired a global community—into the physical world for the first time. The DEORON digital platform offers a curated selection of unique pieces, emphasising their quality and expressiveness. It explores contrasts between elegant forms and the rawness of industrial elements, between avant-garde interiors and vintage or retro touches. The selection is marked by simplicity and warmth, moving beyond cold minimalism to embrace a refined yet accessible aesthetic. TINO SEUBERT, DEORON The exhibition featured over 40 international brands and designers from Europe, the United States, Asia, and Oceania—many of whom made their debut at Milan Design Week. It fostered a dialogue between craftsmanship and industrial production, experimentation and tradition, with no distinction between emerging voices and established names. The sole selection criterion was the quality of the object, assessed for its expressive power and its relevance in the contemporary design landscape. TRAGA, DEORON Each piece was chosen for its ability to tell a story and evoke emotion, making DEORON ELEVATING OBJECTS a true celebration of the most genuine design. A distinctive element of DEORON’s identity is also sound, a central theme in many of the platform’s editorial projects. For the occasion, an avant-garde sound system enriched the exhibition experience, creating an immersive environment where the musical selection amplified the dialogue between objects and space.
