During the Fuorisalone, in April, in the context of the super creative area of Ventura Lambrate, will be the PadiglioneItalia spaces, with curatorship by Alberto Zanchetta. It is a non-profit cultural association, whose purpose is to promote and disseminate the work of its associates, objective pursued by organizing exhibitions and events that present to the public the works of its members. Is a very interesting initiative, because it stands as a neutral space where designers can meet and discuss different topics related to design, triggering debate and growing professionally. In this way a wider audience can be involved in order to get close to the works and design. This year PadiglioneItalia presents Disfunzione Mediterranea: a selection of works from the reflection on the dysfunctional thinking, unpredictable, destabilising, that follows and trace new paths. All creativity is so inherently dysfunctional, and each of us has the slightest imperfection and a (healthy) defect that can make us unique and original. Disfunzione Mediterranea wants to therefore explore the endless possibilities of objects where the defect becomes a peculiarity, objects that are “imperfect being”. The designers who will present their work: 4p1b, Alessandro Zambelli, Alhambretto, A/R studio, CarusoD’AngeliStudio, Ctrlzak, Ghigos Idea, Gio Tirotto, Giorgio Laboratore, Giulio Patrizi, Luca Scarpellini – useDesign, Marta Lavinia Carboni, Serena Confalonieri, Studio Natural, Uovodesign, Whomade + Michela Milani.
