The eighth edition of Concéntrico expands the usual focus of the festival, the Historic Centre of Logroño, and explores new urban practices The new edition of Concéntrico will bring together more than 100 participants from 1 to 6 September, with visitors, guests and 20 teams that will develop interventions in Logroño: 23 actions, 100 chairs, workshops and exhibitions that will transform the city by proposing new collective uses that strengthen the idea of community in public space. Konstantin Grcic en Concéntrico Locations that connect the festival with new landscapes such as Monte Cantabria, a viewpoint over the city, or the river Ebro next to the riverbed; unique urban spaces with which to work on the scale of proximity such as La Rosaleda del Paseo del Espolón or Obispo Bustamante street; or the new urban areas and spaces in transformation such as the Parque Felipe VI or the empty lot in Calle Marqués de San Nicolás. Puerta Extraordinaria / Associates Architecture / Plaza del Revellín The full programme is adding new international visitors to its eighth edition with the AC/E Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture and will be taking part in the Assembly of the European Association for Architectural Education organised by the ETSAM on the theme ‘Towards a New European Bauhaus: Challenges in Design Education & Research’ and the plenary session of the CSCAE Consejo Superior de Colegios de Arquitectos de España to be held at Logroño town hall.
