After the long pandemic break and coinciding with the first edition of AR-DE, an art and design event produced by Poble Nou Urban District on 10,11 and 12 December, L&B Gallery is pleased to reopen its doors to present HOT, an acronym for Here Our Team, a project curated by Guendalina Perelli.

The HOT (Here Our Team) exhibition, open until 11 February 2022, is a proposal with post-COVID work that revolves around resuming the interaction with our environment and our senses, to open up to seduction, but also to everything that society and the world raise and question: global warming, the claims around gender violence or minorities.

In this way, the exhibition proposes works in different media and formats (painting, sculpture, ceramics, video, photography, watercolour or performance) by five artists represented by the gallery -Anna Ill, Joan Ill, Sito Mujica, Xavi Muñoz, Vanessa Pey- in dialogue with four guest artists: Laura Marte, Katia Giuliani, Joaquin Jara and Manel de Aguas.

AR-DE is a circuit of galleries, showrooms and museums that offer their best proposals with the aim of promoting art and design in Barcelona’s creative district of Poble Nou, encouraging the sale of art and design by local and international, emerging and established artists and designers. Three days to enjoy all the cultural programmes of these spaces and approach art and design in a different way.

AR-DE’s innovative programme will coincide with the already well-known Urban Talks, a cycle of itinerant talks that aim to open a debate on culture and creativity in the urban environment.

* The curator of the exhibition, Guendalina Perelli, is an expert in active communication in Milan and Barcelona and editor-in-chief of the design magazine thesignspeaking.
